Undergraduate Teaching Quality Month
Introduction
The Key Laboratory of Language Sciences and Multilingual Intelligent Applications is a university-level laboratory at Shanghai International Studies University, jointly established by the Language Data Science Team and the Neurolinguistics/Psycholinguistics Team of the Institute of Language Sciences. The laboratory features interdisciplinary integration as its core characteristic, combining cutting-edge fields such as linguistics, data science, neuroscience, and artificial intelligence to form a distinctive “technology-driven, arts-sciences/arts-engineering integration” research model.
To leverage the laboratory’s resources, stimulate students’ academic interest, foster innovation and hands-on skills, and enhance undergraduate students’ understanding of linguistics and neuroscience-related fields, the Institute of Language Sciences, in collaboration with the Key Laboratory of Language Sciences and Multilingual Intelligent Applications, is organizing this “EEG System Training” lecture. The lecture is open to all faculty and students, with limited seating available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Training Content
Principles of EEG, classic experimental paradigms, and an introduction to ERP components;
Introduction to hardware components, usage methods, and precautions;
Introduction to the Recorder acquisition software and the Analyzer analysis software;
Practical operation, maintenance, and care of EEG equipment;
Q&A session on operations.
